Détroit Is The New Black brings high-end fashion back to Downtown. Founder Roslyn Karamoko was a buyer for Saks and now manages the superbly edited DITNB storefront. She started off with an iconic and simple t-shirt and quickly expanded to bags and sweaters. In addition to the original Détroit Is The New Black merchandise, the store also carries brands such as Will Leather Goods, Floyd Legs, Douglas and Co. Leather Goods and designs from Tracy Reece, a Detroit native whose designs have been spotted on First Lady Michelle Obama. Détroit Is The New Black brings a new elegance to the downtown shopping experience with in-store art installations and a carefully curated sales floor.
