Michigan-based food and restaurant photographer Joe Vaughn created a neighborhood tavern that is anything but average. Joebar offers Hazel Park residents a community meeting place to gather over a drink and great food. Concrete cinderblock walls and a vaulted wood ceiling gives it a rustic feel on the inside that matches the industrial look of the outside. Refined cocktails and creative dip sandwiches pair well with bar favorites such as homemade caramelized popcorn and potato wedges with horseradish beer mustard.

Joebar also doubles as a café for Dark Matter Roasters during the weekdays after 7:00 A.M. The locations also features a private event space called Frame, that hosts catered meals from professional chefs. Stop by the growing community in Hazel Park to experience this one of a kind social hub.
