Located in Midtown Detroit, the DIA has one of the largest and most significant art collections in the United States. Covering over 600,000 square feet with over 100 exhibits, they have a vast collection of art spanning from classic to modern contemporary art from the 21st century. You could explore for days and still not see everything the DIA has to offer.

Take a walk through the vast halls containing Mexican artist Diego Rivera’s famous “Detroit Industry” mural, or visit Vincent Van Gogh’s renowned self-portrait, the first Van Gogh artwork to be displayed in an American art gallery. The DIA  is a beacon of Detroit culture, leaving visitors with a fresh outlook and a jolt of inspiration.
