Deluxx Fluxx

Do you love bright colors, massive murals and custom arcade games? If so, then you need to check out Deluxx Fluxx. Originally a traveling art installation launched in 2010 by artists Faile and Bast, Deluxx Fluxx has found a permanent home in Detroit’s art-filled destination of the Belt Alley.

Minimal neon Xs hang just above the nondescript door near the north side of the alley. The aesthetic of the bar is a nostalgic nod to childhood basement hangouts and the styles of punk, graffiti and arcade culture influencing Faile’s work over the past 20 years. The bar serves ten beers on draft and also features ten cocktails poured from taps. Make sure you check out their live music, shows and karaoke.
