Detroit Riverwalk  |

What was once abandoned fields filled with empty space is now a beautiful development spanning from Joe Louis Arena to Gabriel Richard Park. Visitors will find three new pathways linking the riverfront to West Jefferson Avenue, benches and plenty of lush green space for a variety of outdoor activities. Throughout the three-mile riverwalk, there are activities for all ages. Attractions include Rivard Plaza, Milliken State Park Wet Lands, GM Plaza, Roberts Riverwalk Hotel and Hart Plaza, and the Detroit Princess Riverboat. And, of course, the view of the Detroit River.

There are many special events that go on throughout the Riverwalk, including the Riverfront Run, GM Renaissance Center tours and Reading Rhythm on the Riverfront.
